Dr. Emily Sanchez is a graduate of the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Adams State University in Colorado. She is licensed in the diagnosis and treatment of various ocular diseases including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration. She is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the Central Texas Optometric Society. Dr. Sanchez values getting to know her patients and ensuring quality care with each interaction.
Dr. Mark Sturm graduated from the University of Indiana School of Optometry and has been practicing in the Austin/San Marcos area since 2010. Originally from a small time in Iowa, he found himself in Texas after trying to get away from the snow! He has a passion for treatment of and management of ocular diseases such glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other more complicated disease conditions. Dr. Sturm also enjoys managing progressive myopia in kids by implementing a number of management treatments in-office. He's a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and the Central Texas Optometric Society. Outside of the office his wife and 3 kids keep him busy. His other interests include working out, swimming, hiking, and most things outdoors.
